Malagos Garden Resort is a resort located on the highlands West of Davao City. The resort is a mere 30 minute ride from the metropolis and is also accessible to public transportation.

Malagos Garden Resort was originally part of an orchid farm that grows the world renowned Waling-Waling, an orchid growing on the slopes of Mt. Apo, as well as other orchids and exotic plants. The site was later redeveloped to become an ecological center as well as a getaway for city dwellers.

Discovered sometime in 1971, the resort used to be a logged-over area covered only by a blanket of wild grass. Its potential was, however, readily seen by the owners as the property provided an imposing view of Davao City and the Davao Gulf.

During time immemorial, thousands of white-lipped oysters were conveyed from Sulu Sea to the island of Samal to cultivate pink, white, and gold pearls. It was radically a pearl farm. But at present, it is already a place of recreation, relaxation, and definitely, a place where you can reckon immense felicity once again.

Travelers oftentimes search for the best exotic destination. They usually look for a unique guide that suits their standard; safety and security, affordability and quality in terms of service and food, and most especially, the amazement that the place could give. Some people travel in search of serenity. While others just want to experience quietness of the heart and mind once in awhile. So why waste time thinking where to go? Eventually, your search is over.
